The Relationship between Economic Growth and Energy Consumption Disaggregated by Sector: The Case of Morocco

The type of relationship that can link energy with economic growth plays a major role in determining the macroeconomic policy country. Therefore, several studies have been carried out to derive econometric models consumption gross domestic product (GDP). In test causality, Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) applied instead Autoregressive (VAR), using Johansen cointegration technique. results obtained showed long run transportation residential positive GDP, households negative impact.
